Accomplished, Satisfied, Sore!

Yesterday I felt angry, unsatisfied and let down.
Im not exactly sure why I felt this way, but I did. The other night when I went to the gym I said that I was going to hit it hard. And I felt as though I pushed myself.
I even did 10 whole minutes on the stair master(currently working up my time on that beast!)
Yep, Sorry its blurry. I didnt want to stop I was doing pretty good!
But I am still not feeling like Im pushing hard enough.
I see these other people in the gym that PUSH and come out DRIPPING IN THEIR SWEAT!
I WANT that!
I know your thinking eww....why do you want to be dripping sweat..
Why???!! Sweet satisfaction of feeling like I have actually earned that workout.
I push myself(I think). But im not a "pusher" type of person.
Im not a pusher at all. I'd rather just do it and do it at my pace. Its become so hard for me to keep going.
Yesterday morning Jeremy and I woke up at 4:15 and drugg our butts our to the gym! Before I got on the treadmille I said that I was going to keep going until I couldnt go any longer. This is where I physc myself out!!! I see that Ive completed a mile and BOOM my body is like...chick your done. Throw in the towel already.
I want soo badly to be the runner I used to be. Be the care free, sweating and running for miles carefree runner.
I ran on the treadmill for 15 mins and then we went and strength strained. Here is where I get frustrated as well.
Our new gym has all these peices of equipment. And I feel like a HUGE loser walking around and not knowing what/how to use anything.
So I want to go crawl into the Women's Only area so that I can just lift dumbbells. That way I know what and how much Im lifting and I can feel the burn in the proper place. When I use those machines I feel the burn everywhere else that it says on the machine guide says that you should feel it.
Am I doing it wrong?? Possibly
Do I want to do it right? To be honest, no!
Should I do it right?? YES!
Today I feel Accomplished, Satisfied, Sore!
We woke up again at 4:15am and let me just tell you. They say it gets easier...HECK NO!! Today was harder...But its just cuz we were sore! lol..
Accomplished:  Because for once I ran PAST 1 mile!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HUGE accomplishment!
We said that today we were going to do 15 minute stations. 15Min tread 15Min weights and then 15Min StairMaster. Did we do that?
BUT I rand for a whole 15 minutes. 1.30 Miles. Thats pretty dang good! And I think I may have figured out why I wasnt making it past a mile.
Wanna know why? Of course you dont BUT I'll tell you anyways!!
MY SPEED! I was pushing my speed between 5.2 and 5.5
BUT thats incorrect. Im short (5'2'') and my legs are not long. So I have been struggling to keep up. When you run you shouldn't be out of breath. And I was!
So this morning I ecperimented with 4.8 and 4.9.
My rhythm was good and I kept the same pace throughout the whole 15mins. I could've gone longer. But in the mornings you have such a time schedule.
Satisfied:  Because I was sooo sweaty! I was even sweating when we got home, and you know what that means! Its still burning my fire! I was also satisfied because I was able to lift weights on my own. I did three sets of legs lifts, three sets of arm workouts with dumbbells,  squats and deadlifts. I like to pump weights because it makes me feel like im getting that extra burn in! And while Im lifting, I look in the mirror(no im not vein...far from it!) and I can see where the muscle is going to form! And that makes me feel satisfied!
Sore: Self explanatory!
Last night I cook a Pinterest inspired meal!
Lemon Pepper chicken with Parmesan broccoli macaroni
And Im not too sure what this was called, But I call it super easy and super good fruit poundy cake!!
Jerms loved both of them. He even got seconds on both!
I'll post the recipes up on my Recipe page! Check back for more updates!!
Until tomorrow, I leave you with a picture of ME!!

No More Moscato for me!!!

So, I hope that everyone had a great weekend! I FINALLY decorated my bathroom! I was soo excited too!

Due to our walls being painted a cream, taupe, browny color the color scheme that I had picked out before we moved in just didnt work. So I had to redo everything. Jerms and I decided on green.

And I found these cool circle rugs! Which I think it adds a little more personality to the room! I love them I think they look cool. Theres two of these, the other one is in front of the sink. (forgot to get a pic)
And how cute are these matching bathroom accessories!

Saturday morning Jeremy had to work half a say, so I went to the gym for a much needed sweat session!
Cant wait till I start seeing results...but thats how you know you worked out hard. You look like shit afterwards!
I went to Lowe's to pick up some nails and a few other things, and started hanging up pictures and decor, and noticed that my Valntine's Day flowers are so blooming and beautiful! I love them!!
I love this. I got this a few years ago on the clearance rack at T.J. Maxx(Former T.J. Maxx addict) And Jeremy tells me this everyday. Plus I think it's a great reminder to make everyday a Great Day!!
Saturday afternoon Jerms got home and was so exhausted so he napped while I finished my first project after moving.
I wanted to make something that would get my earrings off the counter in the closet or bathroom or kitchen or practically wherever I take off my earrings. So a few weeks ago I went to Michael's Craft Store and found this awesome wood cut out.
As we all know, My fav color is Turquoise. So I picked out a pretty Turquoise color and painted it a few times letting it dry in between.

When I went to Lowe's earlier that morning, I picked up a roll of Screen door material. (Sorry forgot to get the pick) But it's like $6.57/Roll and I think the roll is either 35'' or 45'' long. Which is enough for a lot of these babies.

Next I stapled (carefully) the screen to the I front on the wood.

After Jerms woke up from his nap, he went to the Hobby Lobby with me to help me pick out a ribbon(to cover the staples and edges of the screen)

He chose black and white chevron! Good choice baby!! So I got glue gunned the ribbon on the edges, making the corners all match.

And then I added a bow at the top to hang it by and Viola! Dunzo!!

And I LOVVEEEE it! Im hoping to do a couple more. Say like for friends, sisters and a few others. Also if you are interested in me making you one, let me know! I can do any color scheme that you want. I would be glad to! Super easy, fun and satisfying project!
Saturday night we had company over, and I had waaaay too many of these babies!
Moscato is sooo good, until you wake up in the AM with a serious headache and never want to even look at the bottle ever again... I can still smell it...eww gross!
And then there's my LadyBug. Saturday she went from Happy go lucky, playing around with her ball and being the normal sweet girl that she is....

To this on Sunday evening:
She was BEYOND sleepy/tired. Jerms wrapped her up in her blankie! (I know...sue me! She's my only baby right now!)  We think it was the partial anxiety she started to get when our guests over stayed there welcome. Yea! I said it and I dont care. She's just so used to it being me, Jerms and her and she just got overwhelmed. Too much going on. But sweet girl didnt even eat her food last night
=( Makes me worry. But this morning I woke up and she was perfectly fine, wagging her tail like normal! lol...

My outfit of the day! It was a little on the warmer side today. So I opted for sandals!
I also tried out a new lipstick today. Im not a huge fan of lipstick, I always forget to refresh it throughout the day. So I tired it on today. My sister gave it to me. Its alot creamier than I like...I actually like the matte lipsticks more. Anywho...This is Covergirl Temptress Charmeuse. Let me know what you think!

Happy Monday!

Product Pimpin!

 Happy Hump Day!!!!!

Protein Shakes
So, the other day I told you that Jeremy and I got help from one of the trainers at the gym. He even introduced us to the best protein shake ever! Seriously, he said that it would help reduce soreness, by helping repair muscles that we were tearing down in the gym. So we tried a sample and were hooked!!! It is soooo freakin Yummie!

You can find that protein mix HERE  Its sooo good! The Creamy Vanilla is what we have. I put a 1/2 cup frozen blueberries, and 1/2 Cup of frozen strawberries and it calls for 4-8oz of 1% milk. But you can also use water, or the trainer said you could even use Gatorade.  But I like it my way. We drink these immediately after our workout sessions, and 99.9% of the time, we have NO soreness the next day. He told us that you have 45 Mins after a workout to get a raw form of protein in your body to help kick start the process of repairing muscles that you just tore down with a workout session, or a high cardio session (long runs, cycling etc...)

Brady Bands
I had been looking for a workout headband for awhile. And I had found a few that were cute....But nothing moved me. UNTIL...I read Megan's blog about Brady Bands. She swears by them...and now SO DO I!
Seriously, these bands are freakin fabulous! I think that my head is shaped weird, so before I had to wear the little girls sweat bands, and even those budged. By the time I finished my run, It was hanging on by my ponytail! lol...awkward!

But these things DONT move! They even give you a little face lift! And who doesnt want one of those?!! DUHHH....
They come in all kinds of cute colors and sizes and patterns. I just so happen to love this sparkly number.                             I also have these:

Next time, Im getting these!!! Im hooked!

You can find those HERE And if you plug in HEADBANDS at the checkout, you can even get them on sale(if you buy 3 or more) But hurry, you only have 8 days left!!!  But still!!! You'll get hooked just like I did.

This morning Jerms and I tried Turkey Bacon. He hated it! But I like it! And the Calories arent bad...but the sodium is kinda high.... What do you think of turkey bacon??

And finally, this kick ass invention is a veggie steamer for your microwave! It was like $5bucks at walmart...seriously cooks your your veggies gooood! And it saves a butt load of time. 2Tbls of water in the bottomw tray, open the vent and turn micro on for @2-4 minutes. BAM done!
That is all...I will leave you with my lazy Wednesday hair pic!
Your welcome!
Peace and Love,
